With more than 20 years of experience as a journalist, Strategy XXI consultant Scott Van Camp knows the challenges faced by communicators looking to reach media today. At Strategy XXI, Scott channels this experience into targeted media relations campaigns and compelling bylined articles and support materials for a variety of clients.

Formerly Scott was editor of PR News, an executive-level weekly publication that helps enhance the business impact of PR. Prior to that he was with VNU Business Publications for five years, including stints as managing editor at IQ News and Technology Marketing magazines and senior editor at Brandweek.

In the PR/marketing sphere, he has served as corporate communications manager at MarketBridge, a marketing and sales consultancy, and as editorial director for the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Council, a group of more than 2,500 marketing executives. While at the Council, Van Camp led several high-profile marketing research projects.

Scott has a BA in journalism from San Jose State University, and stays close to his Bay Area roots as an avid fan of the San Francisco Giants and the 49ers.
